Wall Road futures bounce as U.S. financial system notches report progress in third quarter

(Reuters) – U.S. stock index futures jumped on Thursday after data showed domestic economy grew at an unrivaled pace in the third quarter as the government poured out more than $3 trillion worth of pandemic relief.
A separate set of data showed weekly unemployment claims fell compared with a week earlier.
At 8:41 a.m. ET, were down 7 points, or 0.03%, S&P 500 e-minis were up 5.75 points, or 0.18%, and were up 66 points, or 0.59%.
