LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – “The Trial of the Chicago 7” won the grand prize at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday. The late Chadwick Boseman and Viola Davis were named Best Actors for their roles in the jazz drama “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”.

The SAG awards selected by members of the union are believed to be a key indicator of likely success at the Oscars later this month, as actors form the largest voting group in the Academy of Arts and Sciences for feature films.
