Additional Restrictions Grants (ARG) will open for the third time to even more companies in Kensington and Chelsea.
Startups that have been operating in Kensington and Chelsea no later than six months prior to the March 2020 lockdown may be eligible to apply for the grant.
Companies that are eligible for the grant also include companies that operate in or off business premises related to leisure, retail and hospitality, and businesses without business premises that have high fixed costs, such as: B. Market traders.
In the second round of applications in January, Kensington and Chelsea Council expanded the criteria to include those in residential properties such as taxi drivers and mobile beauty technicians who could still apply for the ARG.
The ARG is spending up to £ 2,500 on local businesses affected by Covid-19, with the council awarding 1,336 businesses £ 1,705,761 in the last two rounds of the program.
Applications for the ARG are now possible. The application deadline is Friday, April 9th. Companies are encouraged to review the full eligibility criteria before applying on the council’s website.
Councilor Catherine Faulks, Senior Vice President for Economy, Employment and Innovation said:
“We’ve listened to business owners who haven’t received grants but are still severely affected by Covid-19. For this reason, we have opened the grants for additional restrictions for the third time with expanded admission criteria.
“Our entrepreneurs and startups are vital to our local economy. We are determined to make sure they have access to critical funding and are ready to get back to business when the lockdown wears off.”
What about the other grants for businesses in Kensington and Chelsea?
