Russian Alfa-Bank offers blockchain platform for freelancers
Alfa-Bank, one of the largest private commercial banks in Russia, is exploring blockchain technology in its services to freelancers.
Alfa-Bank will use blockchain-based applications to automate services for freelancers and self-employed, according to an announcement made on December 1. Based on Waves Enterprise's blockchain platform, Alfa-Bank's new service covers the entire registration and reimbursement process for self-employed people, including payment processing, income registration and tax payments.
