Morgan Stanley plans to increase dividend if Fed allows: letter

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Morgan Stanley (NYSE 🙂 plans to increase the dividend paid to shareholders if the Federal Reserve lifts restrictions. This emerges from a letter that CEO James Gorman sent to shareholders on Thursday.

The bank has also set a long-term goal of generating a return on physical capital (ROTCE) of over 17%.
