BEIJING (Reuters) – China is revoking visa waiver treatment for U.S. diplomatic passport holders visiting Hong Kong and Macau, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said at a press conference in Beijing on Thursday.

The United States on Monday imposed financial sanctions and a travel ban on 14 Chinese officials for their role in passing a Hong Kong national security law and disqualifying Beijing's elected opposition lawmakers in Hong Kong last month.
