Every morning is a new beginning, and it would be ideal if we started the new day with a smile on our faces. If we start the day with these exercises, we will feel full of energy, and it will only take us fifteen minutes.

They will wake up our bodies and prepare us for the day ahead. Be sure to avoid making beginner yoga mistakes.

Best Morning Yoga Poses - Wake Up and Be Ready for the Day

Cat/cow pose - Marjaryasana-Bitilasana

This is one of the easiest but very effective yoga poses anyone can do.

Get yourself on your hands and knees on the floor. Put the arms under your shoulders and the knees under your hips.

With the inhale bend the spine so that the gaze is directed upwards, and on the inhale, return the chin to the chest and underline the buttocks so that the back is as large as possible.

Repeat eight to ten times, slowly breathing.

Downward facing dog - Adho Mukha Svanasana

Return to ‘all four.’

Align your chest with your legs so that your back is straight and your shoulders and head are relaxed.

Your shoulders should be away from your ears and your knees apart. Remember that in this pose the most important is that you raise your hips high.

Breathe five to ten times, and get out of the pose. This is a great pose for your circulation.

Standing Forward Bend - Uttanasana

Spread your feet hip-width apart.

Stretch your arms and torso upwards with a deep breath, and as you exhale, bend to the ground. Keep the legs straight, but if you find that difficult, slightly bend your knees.

Try to touch the ground with your hands or put your hands directly on the ground, knees touching your head. Relax your neck.

Try to straighten your back. Hold for a few seconds and repeat.

This is a great pose for stretching your legs and your back.

Triangle pose - Trikonasana

Stand up straight and spread your legs the length of one leg. Spread your arms parallel to the ground and then turn your body towards the ground with one hand touching your right open foot.

Stretch your body as much as you can, then do the same on the other side. Keep your chest open and your torso elongated. Five times on each side is enough for you to feel instant energy.

Morning yoga is ideal for balancing body, mind, and spirit after getting up, so try to wake up fifteen minutes earlier, so you can do these poses and start the day fresh and fulfilled.
